It's a diet book. Essentially eat like the Japanese (fish, fiber, vegetables), add wine, exercise 5 times a week, reduce portion size, add vitamins. Key point here is that our genes were not made for fast food and our lifestyles. Getting old is a result of increased inflammation - the way we live now results in accelerated inflammation and thus increased diabetes, heart disease and the rest. Eat less, live longer.
