As the title say...these are quotes of things that should never have been said. Some are cruel, some demonstrate ignorance or lack of education, and some a just really clever. I guess I enjoyed about 10 percent of them which, for this sort of collection, is probably not a bad hit rate.
Some great ones: "I owe a lot to my parents, especially my mother and father"...Greg Norman
"But who prays for satan? Who, in eighteen centuries, has had the common humanity to pray for the one sinner that needed it most?" Mark Twain.
"Photons have mass? I didn't even know they were catholic." Woody Allen
"I can't really remember the names of all the clubs we went to"...Shaquille O'Neal, NBA champion in reference to being asked if he'd been to the Parthenon whilst in Greece.
Hardly a great work of non-fiction ....but an amusing one. I give it 2.5 stars.½
