This is a pamphlet with recipes for raw food, and a few at the back for what the author calls "simple" cooked food. I suppose the recipes are sound enough, but I didn't find any revelations in it.
It is also a place for the author to rant about other food and blame every issue she has with other food on Satan. I was not amused. It reads like something from a brainwashed cult member. I suppose the recipes included are good enough, but to be honest, after reading some of the outlandish things she ranted about, I couldn't take them seriously. It almost put me off of raw food altogether. She says that complicated recipes and spices and herbs are of Satan. That the American diet is of Satan, that our over-indulgence is of Satan. Honestly, that guy really gets around. Now, I believe that Satan exists, I also believe in Jesus and the fact that we humans can get ourselves into a whole lot of difficulties without Satan's help, thank you very much. I also believe that God created all food, including spices and herbs (which are known to have many healing properties), and that He created us to be creative in the kitchen and enjoy His bounty to the fullest. So, let's just say, this author and I have extremely different viewpoints on food, cooking, and God, and her writings are not for me.… (altro)
