I only read part of this--I figured I could safely skip over "Aging and sleeplessness" and "chronic pain and sleeplessness" and focused on the sections talking about relaxation tips. It's a lot of the same as what's in other books: slow, deep breaths, tightening/relaxing individual muscle groups, sleep hygiene (sleep/wake at the same time every day, don't use the bed for anything besides the obvious).

It's not bad and has some good advice. Honestly, though, I just like the title--I like the idea that insomnia is this wily opponent who uses its awake hours to devise devious, ACME-stamped plans to foil my Roadrunner need for sleep. Though that visual is probably just the tiredness talking.
