I really liked this book and Bromell's exploration of the cultural changes occurring when music met drugs met teenagers. Although Beatles-centric, this makes the point that something was going on and the young were trying to figure it out and were reaching for it. Put together with other books about the time period, the picture becomes a bit more clear and how things intertwined to make the late 60s the tumultuous times they were.
