The Beauties of England and Wales: Or, Original… di John Britton
This is Volume 1 of a multi-volume guide to the history and principal features of each county in England. Besides the historical information, collected in the late 1700s, the other principal attraction are the numerous engravings in each volume, plus the two foldout maps in the Introduction, a separate volume that was not printed until 1818, after the entire series was concluded.
