This story took on a much different approach than I was expecting. There were a lot of side characters and the stories/involvement with Master E. I was just expecting the story on Kiera.
This story definitely had dark undertones but not as pitch black as I was expecting. I didn't see the twist coming at the end. My heart hurt for Kiera.

This book was the perfect conclusion to this series. It wrapped everything up. It also felt more like the original series which has always been my favorite and how I came to love this author.
