I can locate so many memories in this first volume. My dad and I love ghost towns and grew up in Colorado. Even when reading a book on the history of my hometown I used this book because the history book didn't have a map of towns that once existed in the region. When we go on road trips we often try to pass through on different minor highways so we can see more--I can find those towns, here. Skimming and studying this book from cover to cover was like a virtual road trip reliving the old ones. Not to mention all the new trips I need to make.

I love the ink art around the maps, sometimes with a nature theme and sometimes with a Wild West look.… (altro)
