This is the book I finished reading last night. The author, Mark, wrote his memoir in everyday language and because of that, I was able to read this book pretty fast. The writing was engaging and it made me want to continue, chapter after chapter.

The story is about Mark Borovitz, a Jewish man raised in Cleveland. He tells about his childhood and how he was impacted by his father’s death. He lost his way without his father and began to go down a long rough road of bad decisions which included alcohol, women, and swindling. The story is gripping because at the beginning you see how he wants to be a good Jewish boy but he is lured into a different world and slowly that ‘bad’ world draws him in until he finds himself in jail. The story continues through his adulthood and the climax is when he has a spiritual encounter and endeavors to clean up his life.… (altro)
