Am I A Monster? (Book 1 of the Monsters series. 2) di J. Boote
Reading 'They Are All Monsters' was a beautifully written crime/serial killer story which contained all the violence and gore you could want. The follow up, 'Am I A Monster' brings a lot of the same, except for the story. I think the previous book was a little more in depth regarding everyone's past, and why horrific things are done, this seemed to come off as just violence and gore just for the sake of it. It is a rather enjoyable book and will still give you the chills, it felt slightly incomplete.… (altro)
What can I say about J. Boote, his writing, and this story in particular. Depravity to the extreme. Unsuspecting people doing horrific things, and a serial killer challenge. This story was F@#$ed up from the beginning and it all leads to a surprising conclusion. Very well written, however, the story matter will make you put the book down several times due to the graphic nature. Currently reading the sequel, Am I A Monster? Congratulations, J. Boote...you win this round.
