The central lesson learned from "The Three Little Pigs" is that hard work pays off. The oldest pig, Elmer, and the second oldest, Hubert, quickly built their homes made of straw and sticks. The youngest pig, Pete, however, labored in the construction of his house of bricks. As Pete built his house, his two brothers questioned why he was putting in so much effort. When the wolf came knocking at both Elmer’s and Hubert’s door, he huffed and puffed and blew their houses down. When the wolf knocked at Pete’s door, the wolf huffed and puffed but could not blow the house down. Since Pete worked hard in building his house, the three little pigs were safe from the wolf. After that, Elmer and Hubert learned an important lesson- hard work pays off. They were never lazy again.… (altro)
