I JUST finished this romance. It was sweet, sexy, and filled with family drama. Even the subplots were nail biters. I will not doubt a Kimani Romance again.

I absolutely loved this book! It was a quick romantic read. Alicia Taylor and Darren Whitman hated each other when they were young. He pulled her pingtails and she was a major brat. At age fourteen, he broke her heart. Alicia was on her way to being the ulitmate independent woman but when Darren Whitman came back into her life her plans were interrupted.

I liked this book mainly because I could really relate to Alicia. She was like one of my girlfriends!

I didn't totally hate it, but I didn't totally love it. The main male character was beyond irrational. I so hated him. However, the book was readable. 3hrs 47mins
