I had such high hopes for this series. Especially, as I was drawn in from the first chapter. However, that quickly changed. The characters, especially Maya, seemed very immature. I struggled with reading this but wanted to trudge through because the reviews spoke so highly of it. Alas, it wasn't for me. The parts that I did like were exceptional. Sadly, the parts that I didn't like made it nearly impossible to get past those moments.

While this book was not for me, I still appreciate this author and her hardwork. My suggestion would be to read this for yourself and determine if it works for you or not.… (altro)
