A bit dry in the accompanying material, but interesting account of voyages in the last of the era of sail. Long account of visit to San Francisco and surrounds in 1890s. Had no idea of the history of the railroad ferry from Port Costa to Benicia. Also tells of trip to Geyserville. Any idea that Victorian era women were fragile flowers can be put to one side.
