Wow! This starts off intense and never lets up. I read this is one sitting and a quick one, at that. A futuristic story revolving around people born with the gift to "push" the minds of others, in some form or another. These "influencers" are highly sought by large corporations to create acceptance to whatever they are marketing. So much so, that the hired are sequestered away form other human contact and doled out assignments. When main character Leeyah opts not to follow her latest task, all Hell breaks loose. I won't give too many details, but the counter-culture saves her from being "erased" and she is taken into another sect as Hell-bent on taking out the Corporate Police as they are them, The "Humanity Protectors".. A riveting read with non-stop action and characters you don't dare begin to like. First in a series, this tightly written tale is destined for the big screen.… (altro)
