Neena Lee has just lost her brother and she blames herself. She did everything she could but he just would not stop using drugs. His death sent her into a deep depression with a hospital stay! Needless to say, she is desperate now to get back to work. Her contract job, writing articles for a magazine, seems to be drying up. That is…until the new manager sends her to Cumberland Island, GA.

When Neena Lee arrives on Cumberland Island, she falls into the spell of the island. And this spell includes seeing a famous ghost, John F. Kennedy, Jr.

I loved this tale! The cute characters, the ghost, the setting…it just took me away. I loved reading about all the problems Neena Lee is dealing with and how she became stronger and faced her fears!

Need a thought provoking tale about life…THIS IS IT! Grab your copy today.

I received this novel from the author for a honest review.

I loved the premise of this book and will always read anything involving the Kennedy Clan. The setting was a lovely inn on Cumberland Island and I could picture being there. It got a little slow for me in the middle and might have added a couple too many characters to matter in the book

The title of this novel says it all. Neena Lee Is Seeing Things, literally and figuratively. Neena is on the brink of breaking down and somewhat unsure her next steps in life. She has recently lost her brother, still grieves the loss of her mother from years ago, may no longer have a job and her adult daughter and her are not seeing eye to eye lately. When her new young boss calls and throws her a bone for a story that he seems to think won't go anywhere, Neeha takes the chance. It's the 25th anniversary of JFK Jr.'s death and she is being sent on assignment to the island and little white church where they were secretly married from all the paparazzi. Neena is ecstatic that this will get her back on track with having a career again with income and help her to move forward with learning to live with her panic attacks. But this island has some unexpected surprises for Neena as well and with being on a tight deadline it doesn't seem she will ever find what she is looking for until an unlikely visitor appears and makes a deal to help her if she helps him. I really did enjoy this story. It was light hearted but yet dealt with some hard issues at hand and I loved the scenery of the island. Thank you to Suzy Approved Book Tours for the invite and to the author for the complementary novel. This review is of my own opinion and accord.… (altro)

Like riding a fast-paced roller coaster -- love dives and climbs, but prevails

Reading this fun romance is like getting into a rollercoaster car, launching into a fantastic ride and finishing with a satisfying deep breath. I loved how debut author Sheila Athens switches each chapter back and forth between the two falling in love – handsome tortured former football star Landon and beautiful redhead, aspiring lawyer Gina. Switching between the two creates pace and tension between their conflicting goals that relentlessly drives toward truth – truth about a crime, truth about buried secrets, truth about a love that can’t be denied. The Truth About Love earns 5 stars. Can’t wait to see what Sheila Athens writes next.
