Have you ever planned on doing something, but talked yourself out of it? You’re not alone, many people are procrastinators, too. Gloria Arenson has had this exact same problem, and she has written this book to help others by using the EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques, method founded by Gary Craig.

You have to think positive thought if you want to achieve your goals. For ex., Tell yourself I can do this, and I can be a better person. Through out the book are true stories on normal everyday people who struggle with procrastination. They struggle to accomplish goals and making the proper changes in life. They took the EFT, aka emotional acupuncture, and have made successful changes.

I never heard about Emotional Freedom Techniques before reviewing this book. Techniques are about tapping on certain parts of your body, like under nose, under eye, etc., to step into the energy that flows through your body. I tried this, and honestly, I just didn’t get it. Maybe it takes lots of practice, but I can’t see this ever working on a person. I can understand repeating the positive phrases during the EFT, but can’t a person just close their eyes and repeat the phrases to calm their nerves down.

A fabulous self-help for the self proclaimed “over” or “under” achiever. EFT is a simple, easy to do technique for clearing emotional blockages that prevent you form moving forward.
It helps you identify what that baggage stems from and allows you to get ride of it.
This book filled with stories, methods, and helpful tools that the layperson can use to change their life is well written and interesting!
As an overachiever, I always felt that I could not get things done because “I didn’t have time.” “I am so busy, how can I ever get this all done?’ EFT helped me clear my blockages on this and gave me constructive ways to attack my projects. Now, I am better at looking for and finding the root cause. As a practitioner of acupuncture and herbal medicine, if you get to the root, you resolve the problem.

Worry and compulsive thinking drain your energy. I learned how to put that energy into productive work.
This book gives you many answers and helps you in many, many aspects of your life.
A lot to” noodle” on…and then put into practice.

Until I read this book I wasn’t aware that procrastination was a medical condition. I knew I put things off in my life, and knew I had to do something about it but I had no idea at all how involved this condition was.
I read the book twice began to apply the techniques with hesitation. I am always wary before I try something new, and not from an actual doctor.
I am happy to say that I no longer ‘put things off’ and my life has become much more manageable in the process. I have begun, and stuck to, a new health regime that involved sticking to my New Year’s resolution to end a 10-year smoking habit.
Once I finally got to the root of my procrastination problem it got easier to follow the book and finally end a life of ‘oh it can wait’, and ‘I’ll do it tomorrow’, and ‘I’ll get around to it eventually’ excuses that were holding me back.
EFT for Procrastination is effortless to use and results are easy to achieve.
I recommend this book and the others from EFT to anyone I see, or hear about with a problem. Comparing the monetary value of the book to the life value of it’s lesson is useless as it far exceeds expectations.
