The sexual harem stuff is... not very good integrated and more the dream of a 13 year old.
At the beginning it is purely personal fighting stuff (and every fight includes a kick to the knee that hits the enemy hard - gets old very fast)
Later it comes to civ like game feel.
Overall i was not impressed. 2-3 stars.

an unsuccessful musician from earth is taken from elves to a fantasy world as their magic is based on music. The magic was taken from them and he should try to get it back.
Everything is too easy, too obvious, every hot girl gets in love (and bed) with the MC and the villain is an incompotent fool.
Base idea was nice - but execution is lacking.

The MC discovers that he is a demigod - someone who has one parent who is a god - in this case a greek god. Hepheistos the smith under the greek gods.
The MC is offered a place in an academy of greek demigods. That academy is military style and the officers are descendants of the main pantheon.
Most other demigods are female - well it is marked as harem book and there are some "steamy" scenes but nothing that wouldn't fit into the storyline and not outragous in number.
The story itself is very nice - Percy Jackson for adults. The MC is likeable his companions too and all the smithing stuff is well described. Additionally the reader gets a refresh course in greek mythology.
Of course there are some plot holes, some things don't come over strange but all over a book i was happy to discover.
Well done - will read the next.… (altro)

Monster Girl Trucker 2 isn’t a novel where it pays to think too deeply about the whys and wherefores of the universe in which it takes place—each community to which they teleport is its own world with its own natural laws yet somehow reflects a particular place and time, real or fictional, from our own world. The book is full of pop culture references, and many of the story elements recreate scenes and stereotypes from familiar films.
