Ankur is from India. Some of his published poems and stories can be found in, among others, “Ink, Sweat & Tears,” “Cha: An Asian Literary Journal,” “Mascara Literary Review,” “Shot Glass Journal,” and “Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine.” His first full-length collection of poems, titled "The Four Colors," was published in July 2020 (Hawakal Publishers, Kolkata).

It's not easy to write review for poetry, it's such vast and free mind literature genre. Unfortunately in this case I haven't resonance with literature subject, even you need to embrace and try to understand different culture, authors ideas, in this case from India. As the name suggest all poetry divided into 4 different colors representing different life life moments: green, yellow, purple and red. So I actually enjoyed one poem from purple titled "Queues & Braids". In this poem literature subject asks various things where are they tails and refuse, denied to believe they don't have it. His journey continues until he faces off a wise man, who redirect his question. Thus main subject realizes he is looking something for himself - what he never had and probably will.… (altro)

Beautifully written prose and poetry. I especially loved the poems in the green section, describing birth and regeneration.

This book is collection of poetry divided in 4 colors although these color don't make up for poetry , writer here is obsessed with nature poetry, and mostly involved natural elements and then the poetry are such good word play of thought you will not understand at first read you have to go through twice and thrice , as Everytime you read it have different meanings and so deep that , you will think of different angles to portray the thoughts of writer while writing and he life with it and combination of words are so good , metaphor are well presented and its enjoyable to read only if you read it carefully and give complete mind to it..… (altro)
