The tactics of investment presented show the result of knowledge and time. There is no quick fix offered, but rather many successful ways to financial security once readers understand that time, discipline and consistency can work for them.
No matter what the financial news or latest crisis of the day, readers learn many ways to persevere. The most compelling and profitable lesson is that our grandparents were right.
“Change your spending habits to reduce debt, and to save.”
For very timely appendices keep readers current to apply the concepts learned within the book, including “The Lessons of 2011 and Expectations for 2012,” “Investing for Income in 2012,” “Do you need an Investment Advisor?” and “A Basic Reading List for 2012.”
