Jigglyspot is well written and incredibly unique. Half human, half warlock murderous clown, what is not to love?! Do not be intimidated by the size of this book. The chapters are short and it continuously leaves you wondering wtf just happened so you can't help but to keep reading to find out what happens next. I loved there were several important characters to get to know and love and/or hate.

Stephen King step aside. There is a new clown in town…and his name is Jigglyspot. We have carnivals, cannibals and clowns that are sure to supply a ride you will never forget.

“People love clowns, but that wasn’t the problem, was it? Nope, no at all. Jiggly’s problem was with humanity, a species he despised more than he could fathom. Why? Because they have half a brain.”

Zero intellect.

Jigglyspot’s greatest asset is his ability to blend in, to be underestimated.

SAC John Mills has dealt with death but his biggest mystery is the mop bucket arsons. He knew there was more…twenty years of mop bucket arsons more. And Reilly’s mop bucket begins our descent into Hell.

On page sixty eight (of 560) pages, when Jigglyspot took a drink from the fridge…my stomach lurched. Cringe worthy. Savagery beyond my wildest…nightmares.

Where does P D Alleva come up with these ideas? He takes horror to a whole new level for me. So many trigger moments, but I do love dwelling in the darkness. So wickedly, deliciously evil. Will humans become slaves, mere vessels for THEIR pleasures? Who will stop them? Will anyone BE ABLE to stop them?

The story is told from multiple points of view. I would say the main characters are Jigglyspot and Tyler, but we have other characters that are important to the story. Characters like Kera, Lilly, John Mills, Helmsley, Sharon, Cassandra, Mr West, MysterE,and more.

“It’s the laws of the universe, Tyler. When energy shifts too much to one side, an equal and opposite reaction must occur on the other and the universe will have the proper balance through chaos and destruction.”

There was no way I could sit down and read the book in one day, not even two days, but I did not want to stop. My hands were cramping, my vision blurring, and still, I read on, until I had to stop and sleep. So, I will warn you. Set aside some time, because I don’t think you will want to stop either. You may even want to keep the lights on. Maybe even have someone with you, if you think you can trust them with your life.

There is graphic violence that has many triggers, so Jigglyspot is not for the feint of heart. After going over my review, I took some things out. I did not want to give anything away, yet I want to say more. I was so engrossed in the story I ignored everything around me. I think, if you love horror, you will love Jigglyspot.

Carnivals, Cannibals, and Clowns. Oh My!
Meet Jigglyspot and his travelling carnival, but just beware, all who enter, some may never leave!
This is not your average horror novel, it is multifaceted, including sci-fi, mystery, thriller all bundled up in gore!
You definitely need a fairly strong stomach for certain aspects of this book and certainly no phobias of clowns. However, you will never look at clowns in the same way again! These are not your family friendly entertainment kind of clowns! You wouldn’t want these at your child’s birthday party.
As well as plenty of gore there is also some dark humour throughout the book which is filled with some of the most despicable characters you are likely to have come across before and after this book!
It definitely has a bit of an old school, early Stephen king and James Herbert ish horror sci-fi to it and the more you read the further you get sucked into the world of not only Jigglyspot, but that of a group of misfit, devilish teenagers, especially Tyler.
What Tyler doesn’t know is that he’s special. Maybe not so much to the human race but to the evil Alien Vampires attempting to subjugate the human race using the cover of the summer solstice!
There are a few redeeming characters that don’t put the human race to shame and go to prove Jigglyspot’s assessment of all humans incorrect! Not all of us have zero intellect

This book is insanely addicting. I started reading, thinking I'd read a few chapters a day...instead I ended up reading a section or two a day, and finished this in under a week, easily (and it's not a short read). There are so many different storylines, all weaving together slowly until they're so entwined that you forget they were ever separate. I absolutely loved every character in this story - the characters don't always turn out to be who you expect when you first meet them, but that's not the only twist Alleva throws at you. Every time I thought I knew what direction the plot was headed, I got spun around, and it went off in another direction. The entire story is dark, twisted, and dives into some serious depravity, and I enjoyed the entire ride, creepy clowns and all. Jigglyspot has absolutely earned his place beside Pennywise in my horror loving heart. (But please heed the warning, as some scenes may be triggering). If you're looking for a horror book that will haunt you after the sun goes down, and make your days a little more spooky, then you absolutely do not want to pass this one up.… (altro)
