Miharo Akimoto

This book is intended for both English language speakers and native Japanese speakers. Some of the detailed instructions written in Japanese are not translated into English, which is unfortunate as they information that would be of use to learners of the Japanese language. One curious aspect is that there is no English explanation of the basic meaning of the kanji character, although there is a Japanese explanation. English translations are however given for the example words in which the kanji is commonly used (including the solo kanji in some cases), so the general meaning of the kanji can usually be discerned from these.… (altro)
