This is a very useful overview map for the area around Mt. Hood, printed on waterproof paper. The publisher worked with IMBA to include mountain bike trails.

The front side of the map shows the Mount Hood Wilderness and surrounding areas at 1:31,680 scale (1"=0.5 mile), extending from Preachers Peak and Weygandt Canyon in the north, to the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness, Trillium Lake, and Echo Point in the south, including approximately 30 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail.

The reverse side zooms out to 1:70000 scale (1"=1.10 miles), to show almost the entire Mt. Hood National Forest, west to Marmot and to Lazy Bend on the Clackamas River, and east to Crow Creek Dam and the Buck Creek Reservoir. An inset shows the Sandy Ridge mountain bike complex at 1:31,680 scale.

The main legend includes charts showing average monthly high and low temperatures at Government Camp, average monthly sunrise and sunset times for Government Camp, and a comparison of monthly precipitation at Portland and at Government Camp.… (altro)
