She was exotic and spicy. She oozed an array of emotions; confidence, hate, anger, desire; probably a divorcee, maybe on the rebound from a broken heart, perhaps just too intimidating to other men. But not him; for him she was exactly the type he liked, as if she were some fantastic mixed drink made just for him. The club was crowded and noisy, so they huddled close together at the bar flirting; him coming closer to quenching his thirst with each passing moment, and her completely unaware that in a few short minutes she would begin the fight for her life.

I looked up to the balcony scanning over each face nearly ready to give up, but then, my eyes found him; he was stunning, probably 6’2 muscular build, Brown hair with slight streaks of blonde; it was straight and a little shaggy. He kinda reminded me of Sawyer from Lost or Keith Urban, but younger and even more handsome, maybe mid twenties I guessed; he was wearing black slacks and a white shirt that was un-tucked and a little wrinkled, and the top button of his shirt was undone. It’s what drew my attention to him in the first place; he looked like he had just rolled out of bed which definitely stood out here. Everyone else had a nearly flawless appearance, but he looked like a beautiful catastrophe!
