Then, it explores some of Newton’s laws in kid-friendly language. It talks about gravity without actually using the word gravity, and it does the same thing with friction. I would change that about this book; instead of just giving the concepts, I think it would be beneficial to also introduce the names of the concepts. Overall, as a narrative, the book isn’t incredibly exciting, but it can provide a decent introduction to the concepts of gravity, friction, forces, and weight. If I used this book, I would use it as an introduction to one of those concepts. This book tells the story of a boy and his dog Newton. As the boy goes throughout his day various activities are described which follow Newton's laws. This book would be a great way to introduce newtonian topics through simple every day activities. This book could be used with all ages but especially younger students. Retelling: In this rhyming tale, a boy and his dog Newton go outside to play common backyard games. Through the course of their play, they make observations about the way things (like their ball) move. Thoughts and Feelings: While I didn't find the story particularly suspenseful, I did like how the book includes some investigating you could o on your own at the end. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
