A time machine built by Leonardo Da Vinci, Viking from 912 brought forward to the current day, some woo-woo stuff, some environmental stuff. And a hot Viking, who Squires manages to make not a jerk without wrenching him all out of shape as far as what someone from that time might be like.
An over the top villian, and a secondary villian (wantabe boyfriend of the heroine) who goes seriously weird, but who's kind of peripheral.)
Some of the logic I don't want to examine too closely, but I had fun. Looking forward to the next one which had a teaser chapter. Seriously curious what kind of hookup the next heroine gets... There were implications of Camelot... (
