This is a fun tale because it starts out like you would expect a tale about amonster too with Clyde being mischevious and playing around all day. Then it takes a turn and becomes relateable for the children who read it by Clyde being scared of the dark and his parents telling him it will be okay and to just lay down in his cave. Many kids suffer from being afraid of the dark and this shows them that it is okay and that everyone gets scared at one time or another. I liked that it can be connected to real life so easily and teaches a valueable lesson that it happens to all of us. This story is about a little monster who behaves in many mischievous ways. He likes to run and play but doesn't like to go to bed in his cave. The cave is dark and he is very afraid of the PEOPLE that could be in the cave. The mother and father monster reassure him he is safe from the people. The story is cute in the way it uses the monster to follow the traditional ways that many children feel about the dark and monsters. This story could be used to address issues of fears. The story could also be used on a unit about monsters. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
