This book gives the inside and outside "anatomy" of a dinosaur, geared for younger readers. Would be used in the classroom as a science/history lesson discussing the skeletons of different dinosaurs, what they eat, how they were born, how they look on the outside, and where they lived. Would be great for third through fifth graders. This book has amazing pictures, and gives the scientific names of dinosaurs as well as what the scientific name means. It's a very good book for children just learning about dinosaurs. In the back of the book it has a lot of specifics on each of the dinosaurs which could be good for students that really want to learn more about dinosaurs. This book contains facts about many different dinosaurs. The book shows a picture of the dinosaur fossil, the meaning of that dinosaur’s name, and a picture of how the dinosaur looked when it was alive. This is a great book to share with children because teaches them about dinosaurs. This book could be used as a starter book for further research. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Adult Reader Reaction: I have mixed feelings. I really liked the concept and the extra information and resources in the back. But there was a real disconnect between them, and I would like to have had more than just a colored dot identifying the other dinosaurs in the illustrations.
