Spider-Man, unconscious after losing a battle to Menace (who is revealed to be Lily Hollister), is captured by the police. Matt Murdock appears in time to prevent the police from unmasking him. Vin Gonzales is arrested for the Spider-tracer killings, and Spider-Man breaks loose of his restraints to rescue Gonzales from being beaten to death by the other prison inmates. Gonzales agrees to testify against his fellow conspirators on the force for a lighter sentence. We see that Flash Thompson lost both legs in Iraq. And Matt Murdock pulls some neat legal maneuvering to get Spider-Man off the charges against him. The book concludes with a couple of one-shot stories, one of which involves Spidey helping Barack Obama unmask the Chameleon as the impostor Obama just before being sworn in as President. Quite a lot happening in this one. ( )
