Michael Recycle Meets Litterbug Doug is a great book for younger grades to talk about littering and recycling. Loved this book. In this sequel to Michael Recycle, he meets Litterbug Doug, a kid who doesn't want to be clean or recycle. Basically Michael Recycle is the good guy, and Litterbug Doug is the bad guy. The good guy reforms the bad guy, and all is well. I felt like I had heard this story before, and the prose in some areas didn't work for me. I haven't read the first Michael Recycle, so I don't know how that one reads, but I had hoped for more originality considering the subject of the book. This book is about how a boy litters and does not properly dispose of this trash. This is when Michael Recycle comes into the book. He teaches Litterbug Doug how to be a clean person. By the time Michael talks to Doug about recycling and keeping clean Doug became the green police. He made sure that everyone was doing their part in throwing away trash and keeping things clean. This book is filled with facts about trash and recycling. This would be an excellent book to read to children when they are learning about recycling and keeping the Earth green. This book is also filled with great illustrations and would be a great read a loud. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
Michael Recycle, the green-caped crusader, may have met his match in Litterbug Doug, who's lazy, wasteful, messy, and careless about the Earth's resources. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
