Since poetry is something I am now a huge fan of, I was especially drawn to this book. The way the poems are spaced and how the language is used, as well as the illustrations. One of my favorite lines in this book is in the poem "The Perfect Wallflower". The line is, "Wistfully he gazes, Wondering what to do, Instead of one wallflower, Now there are two." The rhyming of do and two, the way lines are separated, as well as the way the words flow beautifully. was amazing. This quote can mean so many things, yet it only made me think of the relationship I am in, and how we are so perfect for eachother.... 5 years later. ( ) Neat, but not scientifically rigorous, despite pretenses to be. For example, amphibians are not reptiles. Also, there should be no implication that readers might be squeamish about any of these animals. It should be either a fantasy, or accurate, not both. Otherwise, both verses and pix are fun & nifty... so it's a shame I can't recommend this. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
