Walt Fleming is the sheriff in Idaho. His nephew, Kevin has a job at a lodge. Kevin takes up with a guest named Summer and they go out to visit her father's Leerjet. Meanwhile there is a plan afoot to steal the jet, unbeknownst to the teenagers. They are hidden away when the plane takes off. The plane runs into trouble and sets down on an isolated airstrip. Kevin and Summer must try to escape.

Book 3 about Walt Fleming. There is a quick attempt to steal wine bottles destined for auction. They are supposed to have been bottles owned by John Adams given to him by Thomas Jefferson. Because of the high profile Walt begins to investigate and keep guard over the bottles. A quick read and easy mystery. There seems to be more going on than just a robbery attempt. Will Walt be able to figure everything out in time? ( )

I thought the 3rd book in the Walt Fleming series was the best one yet. Very good storyline that kept me guessing as to what was going to happen and at some points, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what would happen next. I really like the Walt character, but find that he just needs to get on with it with regards to Fiona. Kiss her already!!! ( )

If you are familiar with the tv series Leverage, this book could be a script (but better written than a script) for Leverage gone way wrong! Well written and full of red herrons, this is a good read. ( )
