First of all this book has beautiful illustrations! The colors are so fresh and very well done. The story of the book is also a great one. It talks about Alfred wanting all these books, and getting what he wants, but still not being completely satisfied, until one day he figures out why. This is a great book and I feel like everyone should get a chance to read it. ( )

Alferd is a shy, lonely kid who turns his attention to books when he has trouble fitting in. He decides that he needs to collect every book to be happy. After he collects all of the books, he locks himself in and reads them all. Unfortunately, this doesn't bring the happiness that he desires. In collecting all of the books, he left everyone else in town without books. Hefinally finds happiness when he realizes that he needs to share the books. ( )
