Longing to buy a special puppy, a boy tries to find the money he needs but ends up spending it on family members, who ultimately surprise him with the dog as a gift.

A little boy wants to save money for a dog he saw at the pet shop. Instead of saving he ends up buying little things for his family which makes him feel better than if he had gotten the dog for himself.

This book is about a young boy who sees a puppy at a pet store and wants to buy it. He doesnt have enough money so he plans on saving his money. Throughout the week his parents and siblings need little things and he decides to buy them. At the end he has less money than he started with because he helped his family out.

The book started out with a boy walking by a window with a dog for sale. The boy does not have enough money to buy the dog but the owner of the store tries to get him to buy another animal that he has the money for. The boy ends up being helpful and his parents reward him with what but the doggie in the window. Book had a great ending and kept me reading until the end. ( )
