I don't generally read the Teen Titans, so I'm reading this from the perspective of somebody who is just trying it out to see if I like it. Essentially, they did a pretty good job of making this a self-contained story within a larger story line. There have obviously been some big shakeups in this world lately, but those issues are distilled and encapsulated quickly as necessary during this mini. I didn't feel like I needed to go back and read past issues, but I do feel as though I would like to in order to see what happened in a larger, more detailed sense.

The story itself was interesting, if too much on the surface. There seem to be a lot of feelings of betrayal and unhappiness that are just swept under the rug rather than dealt with by the end of the story. I would have liked some resolution there rather than just a quick punchup and moving on. ( )
