Pleasant story of a family of three daughters growing up in the Hutt Valley, where I also grew up almost a decade earlier. Very reminiscent of my own childhood having been raised in the same river valley. Interesting to look back on the freedoms these girls had to roam the neighbourhood to play with friends after school and at weekends along the river stopbanks and at each others homes. Compared with today, society then was less restrictive and a little more innocent. ( )
