I just didn't connect with the characters in this story. Aimee Blake is a widow raising her teenager daughter and she meets "one-date kind of man", Jacob Mallory. Although neither are looking for love, circumstances throw them together and they each see the potential for love in one another. The painful past that each of them have though, keep them from making that commitment to each other. They must learn to forgive and forget the past and move forward to make their feelings for each grow into long lasting love. ( )
