Devastated after the death of her step-son, her marriage ended, cartoonist Libby Kincaid returns to the ranch she grew up on wanting only to heal. Met with open hostility by her childhood nemesis, the fascinating Jess Barlowe, she discovers that Jess's brother Stacey (married to her childhood friend Cathy) has been spreading rumors - basically, that Libby & Stacey have been having an affair, and she's returned home to be with him.

Of course Jess & Libby are meant to be together, and a crisis or two, a few heaving breasts & shouting matches later, they are - it's a romance, after all. Not one of Miller's best efforts. ( )
