When I was younger I watched VeggieTales, so when I saw this book, I had to read it! Just as I did when I was a kid I loved it. It is such a great book for young readers who are learning about the alphabet. I liked this book for two reasons. I liked how they expressed the letters on each page. Every time they are introducing a new letter they have it bigger than all the text and in a different color. This lets the letter stand out for readers to see. Another reason I like this book is because of the rhyming. For example, “P is for penguins and popular peas… A hero with plungers and singing palm trees.” The overall idea of this book is to teach readers all about the letters of the alphabet and it does a great job at doing it.
