Norma is always right. But has she got the right train tickets? And what happens to Michael's painting when Mrs Roberts comes to tea? People are full of surprises, as you'll find out in these short plays. Great for students to read with friends. They'll have fun - and in English

In this book, there are some funny stories.I thought "A Good Match" was the most interesting.Characters are David,a football supporter, and his girlfriend and her family..but the family support a rival team of Davit's.A jork of the end of this story was good.I laughed slightly in my mind. But the other stories were not so good.I wanted to laugh more. ( )

This book is consist of people's conversations from first story to final story(there are six short stories). All explanations of situations are regarded as narrator's words in this book. And illustrations are funny and interesting. My favorite story is The English Teacher. I'll introduce about it.
An English teacher makes his students speak easy English sentences. For example,"I like football." , "I can tell good stories." and "Smoke is coming under the door." And the final student said "The school is on fire." This sentence was the same as one which another student said. Why did the final student say so? ( )
