A fun little gothic novella. There are some beautiful, picturesque scenes that unfold on the page and some truly eccentric characters. I quite enjoyed it, though I was surprised that the title character wasn't introduced until half way through. I'll stop there for fear of spoilers, but it's worth a read. A fun little gothic novella.
