"Oh, Tucker!" by Steven Kroll is a comical short picture book to read aloud to younger students. The author tells the story of how Tucker, the dog, is always getting himself into trouble and making a wreck out of his owners house. Although a rambunctious dog, his owners still love him no matter how many things he makes a mess out of in the house. Younger students might not pick up on the message of this story on their own, but teachers could easily explain to their students the unconditional love that the owners have for their dog, Tucker. Students will be able to relate to this story while reading/listening and will be able to relate to the message as well. Every student will be able to think of a parent, sibling, other family member, or even a teacher who will love them unconditionally no matter what mistakes they might make, just like Tucker. The illustrations look like colorful sketches and the bold, big font will stand out to the readers as Tucker makes a "Wham!" or as the owners yell "Oh, Tucker!" nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Even though Tucker causes chaos as he bounds through the house, knocking things over, his owners find it difficult to scold him because he is such a nice dog. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |

This book is CRF because it is about a families dog and how they don't discipline him because he's too cute and lovable so he just knocks stuff over. I would only read this in my classroom as a fun book. Besides that there is no moral teaching or anything beneficial. ( )
