Sienkiewicz's "art" is an abomination. The story isn't bad, even if it's heavier on Natasha-angst than I prefer. Yelena was fun. Fury seemed really OOC. Kestrel turning into an evil stereotypical bull dyke after being a kind of enjoyable villain in the first volume was really annoying. The use of Spanish was actually well done, for once. Morgan is really good at pacing an adventure plot, and this had a really satisfying structure, but the emotional arc seemed pasted on, especially for both Sally Anne and Matt in re Natasha. I do not understand where Yelena's apparent moral conscience came from. It's more interesting than the psycho brat she was before, though. ( )

Does not measure up to "Black Widow: Homecoming". Biggest mistake was bringing Daredevil and Nick Fury into the story as much as they did. Even putting that quibble aside this was not a good book. I didn't like the artwork that much. The characters seemed rather flat. I had high hopes for this collection and was very disappointed. ( )
