The story describes Nessa and how brave she has to be while protecting her grandmother from the wilderness while they wait for their family to come help them.

He family then finds her and her grandma to bring them back to their community. I would use this book in my future classroom because it teaches about culture. This book is appropriate for grades 2-3.
