Hank discovers that there is another cowdog on the ranch and he is not happy about that. While Hank worries about the other dog, there is a robber on the loose. Hank confronts the other dog to be sure he does not know who the robber is and finally Hank catches the thief. More advanced readers would like this series if they like to read mystery which helps children predict what will happen. Teachers could find suffixes that were used in the book and have students practice with these type of words. ( )
