Sunny Randolph isn’t as social as her family. She surprises everyone when she agrees to take a vacation in Kenya at a safari lodge where a friend works. She is entranced with the area, animals and even the tents. She develops a bit of a crush on one of the owners, Martin Karanja. Sunny’s sister told her to have a vacation fling but that’s not really Sunny’s style. If she actually has the nerve to kiss him, she’s probably going to get her heart broken.
Martin Karanja likes Sunny immediately. She cheerful and nice to everyone. But he’s the boss and he can’t have a relationship with her. Even when he’s not at the lodge, he lives in Nairobi while she lives in Washington DC. That’s not something that would work for any amount of time in a relationship.

Sunny is a bit naive and knows it. But everyone is telling her that Martin is a good guy and that she should enjoy his company while she’s there. It’s a rather innocent relationship until it’s time for her to go home. Decisions need to be made.

Sweet and loving. Being impulsive on vacation is not the same as everyday life. And Sunny is very much aware of that. A little sad until they figure everything out and Sunny makes some brave decisions.
The author makes it clear this is not her personal love story but feel good fiction. ( )
