Series Info/Source: This is the 4th book in the Cambio Springs series. I borrowed a copy of this on ebook through Kindle Unlimited.

Thoughts: It was fun to be able to read another book set in Cambio Springs. This book follows Juniper (Juni) and Sean and was a bit different than previous books because the two already have an extensive history together.

If you enjoy the Cambio Springs series, I would definitely pick up this book, all of our favorite characters are in here. If you haven't read the other books in the series you could read this as a stand alone but it will have a lot more impact and you will understand more of what is happening if you read the previous books in the series.

Even though I really enjoyed this book I did think it was one of the weaker Cambio Springs books. I think part of that is because it features two characters who are "outsiders" and don't live in the town full time. I really loved Juniper, she was a fun character with a unique personality and life. I thought Sean was a bit more ho-hum, he just made numerous dumb decisions and didn't keep people in the loop like he should. However, I did enjoy the fact that he can shift into various different animals.

This book continues the story around the drug dealer/mobster that has sick shapeshifters that has been coming into Cambio Springs' territory. I really enjoyed the resolution around this part of the story.

As with all of Hunter's books this was incredibly well written, and easy to read. While it wasn't my favorite Cambio Springs book, I like how it wrapped up some loose ends in the series and really enjoyed being able to hang out in this town with these wonderful characters again.

My Summary (4/5): Overall I really enjoyed this. It was fun to be back in Cambio Springs and I really liked getting some closure around the events that happened in the previous book. Sean and Juni weren't my favorite characters, but it was still a well done relationship that was fun to read about. I believe this is the last book planned for this series and I think this is a great place for this series to end at. I plan on checking out some more of Hunter's series in the future.
