The Flower Fiend
Someone is crushing all the flowers in the Hundred-Acre Wood. Pooh and his friends set some traps for the fiend but end up hoisted with their own petards when the fiend is finally revealed.
Richie Rich, the Poor Little Rich Boy, Brightens up a Traffic Jam [Advertisment]
As Richie Rich flies above a traffic jam in his helicopter-car he all but yells, "Let them eat cake!" as he tosses Twinkies at the commoners below. Holy crap!
Original Art
Pooh wants to brighten up his friends wall with new paintings, but he sucks as an artist and gives up. The end. Really.
The Day Roo Disappeared
When Roo goes missing, Pooh assures Kanga he'll find the child, telling Piglet as they set out, "Mamas are emotional and forget to look at the facts . . . " Such a statement makes it a little hard to be happy when he gets rewarded for his tracking skills.
Backscratch Tree
A bobcat privatizes the community back-scratching tree by homesteading it. Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore decide to exercise some eminent domain and conspire to drive out the squatter.
Fire-alumph Hunt
Piglet panics his friends by pointing out they don't have a firetruck in the event the Hundred-Acre Wood catches fire. Pooh decides they should capture a "hephalumph" -- the writer doesn't know how to spell "heffalump" -- and keep it imprisoned until its trunk is needed to spray out a fire. But he gets distracted by some food, and everyone immediately forgets about their fear of fire.
(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:
