A sequel to Mommy, it reads like the book treatment of a B movie sequel. OK for all of that, but the author has the really annoying habit of describing the outfit each character is wearing when they make the scene. I've run across it before and it always drives me nuts (he said, wearing a white oxford cloth shirt, dark tie and blue dress slacks.) Part of the 'beautiful sociopath' genre of thrillers.

Mrs. Sterling, psycho killer tiger mom, is released from jail when an enlightened and newly elected liberal governor is talked into using her as a test subject for anti-psychotic drug implants coupled with psychotherapy and a mandatory stay in a half-way house. People start dying. Collins never follows up on one really great scene, where a volunteer at the halfway house reveals that she's a friend of one of Mrs, Sterling's victems and will be keeping a close eye on her. I'll let readers take if from there.
