This was a fun mash up of pirates and mythology. Pirate captains Lou and Rye must team up, share a crew and a ship, to kill the Siren Queen and end the war of the sea. Of course Lou hates Rye and finds sharing her ship difficult even for such a good cause. This book was action packed and included nods to mythology and pirate life throughout. The ever popular enemies to lovers trope was present and worked well. The book wasn't perfect and Lou was hard to like at times but it was a fun read. I AM NOT A BIG FAN OF THIS GENRE, BUT I LOVED IT! There was plenty of action, hate on Captive Lou's part as she vowed revenge on the man who had committed the action TO KILL HER FATHER LEAVING HER TO TAKE TO TAKE HIS PLACE. Sirens, Demi-gods, and gods blend into A VERY BRILLIANT STORY! ( )

I enjoyed reading this book, it was such a captivating read. An adventure full of pirates, sirens and gods. It was well written and the enemies to lovers was just perfect. I couldn't put it down and I loved reading it.

War of the sea With a beautiful cover got my attention right away. It was was not hard to get into as the story on fold i lived in that fantasy world It had me picture everything in my mind as a dream And could hear the voices of each character so clearly Making this book such a fun and enjoyable read I recommend for fantasy lovers ( )

This was such a great book.
I loved the twists and turns and how the characters navigate each new challenge. Now, Lou was, for a while, an interesting and great female character, but I felt like she was a little too impulsive and there was no actual thought behind her actions.
Other than that, I loved the fact that the romance was not present from the start and I feel like romance or no romance, it was an amazing story. ( )
